New lists for 2026

A little bit of a Listography update that I'd like to share here as well... as a list, of course.

Listo laundry list: Done

Listo laundry list: To Do

I've been pretty content with my use of Listography for the last year. I couldn't imagine I'd keep it up, I honestly thought it would be something that I'd start and abandon after the novelty fizzled out, as it usually does for me. But surprisingly, that wasn't the case.

If you ask me why, I wouldn't be able to tell you. I have no idea what Listography has that kept me engaged. Maybe the "low techiness" of it? The learning curve is almost nonexistent, which is pretty great if you ask me. Or may it is bc everything is just lists and keyboard symbols and barely four markdown syntaxes. Or is it looking at other ppl's listos and being inspired by them (go check my following list, there's some bangers in there!)? I'm not sure, actually. All I know is that I love it and I don't see myself not using it for the longest run.

Even though I did find Start.me recently and it does kinda feel like a "new and improved" sort of Listo, it doesn't replace the feel of Listography, just its function. You can technically follow people there too but I honestly haven't checked how that looks like. All I know is that it doesn't show on my main page like Listography does and that already takes away half the fun of it. I do wish Listography had a little bit more practical features such as creating and updating menus and submenus within lists automatically, but it's already very solid as is.

So far I'm at 82 public lists, and I'm kind of excited to hit 100. That will only happen next year though (I think), which is yet another reason to keep me updating it.
